Prerequisites
The course requires a base knowledge in building science with architectural training, hands-on building experience, or similar background.
Phius Certified Consultant (CPHC®) training is the only certification that teaches students how to apply passive building principles in a cost-optimized, climate-specific manner. The training is geared toward architects, engineers and design professionals who want to take their high-performance building expertise to the next level.

The price of the training and professional exam, all in, is $2400. This includes the two-part training and two-part exam.
Members of the Phius Alliance receive a $200 discount, and must register through the Phius Portal once your application is accepted.
Students must apply for acceptance into the program. Upon acceptance, students can register for the full training and select from a list of scheduled live sessions.
Online, self-guided instructional modules (50-60 hours) followed by an Online Exam.
Instructor-led, live session spread into eight 3-hour modules over two weeks (24 hours live + 2-4 hours for design exercise homework). These are scheduled roughly once a month, See schedule above for session slots, and be prepared to select a session slot during training registration.
Online Exam: Open once self-guided content is complete, to be completed in a 3-hour time slot of student's choice.
Design Exam: Open for a 4-week window following the live training session, to be completed and uploaded to the training site by the specified due date.
