Phius Certified Consultant CPHC® Exam

All students who are accepted into the CPHC Training are eligible to take the full CPHC Exam. If you haven't taken the CPHC Training, you must first apply and take the course before the exam. If you are already certified as a CPHD, check out the Accelerated Training.

The exam is exactly the same for the regular and accelerated training paths. 

The primary source for preparation is the training.  Phase I training focuses on the information and concepts necessary to do well on the Online exam portion.  Phase II training, particularly the in-class exercises and the assignment, prepare you for the design exam.  Additionally, there are self-guided exam preparation materials included with your exam registration.

For Phase I retakes, you will be enrolled in the next scheduled online exam.  Most often, this will be the online exam scheduled for the following month..

For Phase II retakes, you will be enrolled in the next regularly scheduled exam following a  Phase II course.  Please refer to the Phase II trainings listed on our website to know when the next offering is.  Upon request, you can also be scheduled for a later offering. 

The CPHC Phase I Exam will become available on the Phius Training Site in the ‘Phius Certified Consultant Exam’ course when you gain access to Phase I training. It will remain open until your 12 month access to the course is over, and must be completed before your enrollment ends.

The CPHC Phase II Design Exam will become visible on the last day of the Phase II course and is due 4 weeks later.

Yes, students who do not pass the exam on the first attempt may retake one or both parts for a fee. The Phase I Online Exam is weighted more heavily towards your overall exam grade, so we generally recommend retaking that portion.

Yes, as long as the design exam due date has not passed you may reschedule for a small fee. You will be enrolled in the next design exam.  Please also note that the design exams change, and you will need to start fresh with the new prompt. 

You can expect your exam grade 4 weeks after the submission due date. You will be notified by email when your grade is ready, and the results will become visible in the exam course itself.

Training applications are reviewed weekly on Mondays, you will receive an email from training@phius.org once your application is reviewed.
