    About Phius

Phius (rhymes with Prius) is a 501(c)3 organization committed to making high-performance passive building principles the mainstream best building practice, and the mainstream market energy performance standard. Buildings that meet the rigorous Phius standard use 40-60 percent less energy than conventional buildings—with a commensurate reduction of carbon emissions. Phius is the leading provider of professional training for passive building design, construction and quality assurance professionals. Phius also provides a robust continuing education program. Phius offers primarily synchronous, instructor-led courses that are online or in-person, and most offerings also include an asynchronous online training ahead of the instructor-led portions (i.e. hybrid trainings).

    Position Overview

Phius is seeking a training program administrator to ensure seamless delivery of the professional training and credentialing courses. This client-facing role will serve as the primary point of contact for all training administration needs, and will work in a fast-paced environment to streamline administration and enhance both student and instructor experiences.

This role would include administration and scheduling for existing programs, maintaining accurate records, management and scheduling of qualified instructors and exam graders, integrating curriculum updates into training courses as instructed by the Educational Content Manager, as well as responsibility for the central online training site. The role will communicate with instructors and partners, and may provide customer support for new trainees and additional support services for professionals seeking to maintain their credentials with Phius.

Phius currently hosts approximately 30+ synchronous online and in-person training courses annually across five credentials and 5+ foundational and advanced trainings. In-person training offerings are currently primarily hosted in the United States and Canada, and online synchronous trainings are currently primarily hosted in continental United States and Canadian timezones. Instructors are primarily contracted instructors, rather than Phius staff.
