Position Overview
As demand for passive building grows, Phius is committed to delivering high-quality, engaging training programs for professionals across the building industry. The Training Development Intern will support the redevelopment of Phius training materials, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize an image/graphics catalog for training materials. Track which graphics are used, needed, and in development.
- Tag and categorize graphics for proper placement and accessibility within the catalog.
- Input developed training content into a training delivery platform (e.g., Rise360).
- Assist in quality control and quality assurance processes on inputted training content (e.g., maintaining branding and formatting guidelines, ensuring content meets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), etc.)
- Assist in the systematic review and refinement of training resources, including glossaries and reference materials.
- Communicate with project teams who have achieved Phius certification to request project details, photos, and other visuals for use in training materials.
Qualifications
Required:
- Knowledge of high-performance building practices and passive building principles.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction details.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small, close-knit team environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with content creation platforms (such as Articulate or Rise360).
- Background in architecture, engineering, environmental sciences, or a related field (undergraduate or graduate students are encouraged to apply).
- Familiarity with image file types, resolutions/quality, graphic organization and content management.
- Foundational knowledge or better of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator and InDesign).
