Phius Certified Verifier Training | September 2026 | Boston, MA

This ~40-hour hybrid course prepares quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) professionals to inspect, test, and document passive building projects pursuing Phius Certification.

In the self-paced online content, students will review foundational knowledge on building science, high-performance enclosure systems, high-performance mechanical systems, and the Phius passive building standard. In the instructor-led content, students will dive into the Phius QA/QC process, including Phius program checklists; Co-requisite Programs; all inspection, testing, and documentation requirements; and project site visit planning by the Phius Certified Rater/Verifier.

This course serves as one of several requirements to sit for exams for the following Phius Certifications:
- Phius Certified Rater
- Phius Certified Verifier
- Phius Certified Verifier with Multifamily Designation

There will be a one-hour virtual check-in with the instructor: Thursday, September 3 from 11am-12pm ET

In-person instruction will take place from Tuesday, September 15 through Thursday, September 17, from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern each day. Training will be held at Studio for High Performance Design & Construction.
