Sayo Okada

Sustainable Design Coordination at Studio G Architect

Sayo Okada was born and raised in Nara, Japan. She has been practicing architecture for more than 15 years in the Boston area, and has experience in a variety of projects including childcare, higher education, and housing.

Sayo has been involved with the passive house community since 2010, and involved in certifying projects for single-family and multifamily projects. She is also working with Phius to establish Japanese climate-specific passive house standards and a CPHC course in Japan in collaboration with Passive House Institute Japan.

Sayo has a B.Arch. from the Wentworth Institute of Technology.
