This calculator is used to determine project-specific performance criteria for Phius 2024 New Construction projects using WUFI Passive. Projects submitted using METr have the criteria calculator built directly into the software.
This calculator, updated on Oct. 5, 2026, is used to determine project-specific performance criteria for Phius 2024 Certification. The latest update to this calculator includes a minor correction of the total global solar irradiance (IGA) for 3 US and 10 Canadian climate locations and a correction to the non-residential source energy limit for all Canadian Projects. The locations affected by the IGA update are as follows:
- US: Cortez/Montezuma CO, Dallas/Redbird Airport TX and Hoonah AK
- Canada: Penticton Airport BC, Vernon BC, Shearwater NS, Peterborough Airport ON, Toronto Island Airport ON, Toronto ON, Trenton Airport ON, Montreal-Mirabel QC, Sherbrooke Airport QC and Trois Rivieres QC.
