Ayobami Ilori

Technical Intern

Ayobami Ilori Is a Technical Intern at Phius and an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Architecture at Ball State University. He holds a Master of Architecture from Ball State University, where his research focused on workplace design, daylighting, passive ventilation, energy efficiency, and long-term building performance.

He also holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Lead City University and a bachelor's degree in industrial chemistry from the University Ilorin, both in Nigeria. His interdisciplinary background bridges science, design, and energy performance, informing his work across academic and professional settings.

At Ball State, he is involved in BeeNow accreditation, environmental systems instruction and research on indoor environmental quality, LEED-certified building performance, and high-performance building simulations using tools such as Revit Insight, Covetool, and DesignBuilder.

Ayobami is passionate about advancing sustainability through architecture, combining academic teaching and research with real-world projects and passive strategies. He is excited to contribute to Phius' mission of transforming the built environment through climate responsive design and verified performance.
