With the start of a new year, we’re all looking for ways to develop personally and professionally. Why not do so with one of Phius’ upcoming training offerings?
As always, we have Phius Certified Consultant (CPHC®) trainings running monthly, in addition to other virtual professional certification courses and various WUFI workshops. We have training courses geared toward any type of building design and construction professional looking to take their passive building knowledge to the next level.

One of the most important roles in certifying Phius projects is that of the Phius Certified Rater and Phius Certified Verifier. These professionals inspect and test completed projects to ensure they perform at least as well as indicated by the performance modeling. As the only passive building certification that requires third-party quality assurance, Phius Certification stands alone.
More Phius Certified Raters and Verifiers are needed everywhere, but in particular in the Massachusetts and New England area, as recent code updates have led to a surge in Phius projects in these areas that is expected to accelerate in 2024 and beyond.

The Feb. 7 Project Certification Workshop is the perfect refresher on best practices for any project submitters looking for some extra guidance. The workshop sets expectations, eliminates surprises and improves how you integrate the review process into your practice, allowing you to go into your next Phius project efficiently and with confidence!

Calling all architects and engineers who want to join the leading edge in designing energy efficient, healthy, and sustainable buildings. The Phius Certified Consultant plays a key role in all passive building projects by designing to the highest performing standards available - Phius Certification. The course consists of 2 parts: 50+ hours of self-guided training that teaches building science fundamentals, passive building physics and techniques, and Phius Certification requirements; and 24 hours of instructor-led content guiding you through designing a Phius project and creating an energy model using WUFI Passive software.
