Phius Alliance Constituent Coordinator Jennie Eber provides an update on the Alliance's growth and programming.
Have you heard of the Phius Alliance? If you haven’t, this blog will serve as the perfect introduction, and if you have, it will keep you up to date on the latest Alliance happenings.
The Phius Alliance is the membership arm of Phius. As the community of Phius-trained professionals grows, practitioners can connect with one another to advance passive building through the Alliance. Alliance local chapters build community and help to connect members across the nation. They do this by hosting events such as project tours and networking get-togethers, and serving as a resource for professionals in the area. Every region, state, city, municipality, etc. has its own unique set of challenges, and the goal of the Phius Alliance is to connect those who face similar obstacles.
Are you a member? Have you been involved with one of our eight chapters? Maybe you have been in touch with one of our Alliance Council members to chat about Phius and learn more about what is happening in the Phius community for Phius? Maybe you haven’t had the opportunity to do any of these things. Either way, you’re still welcome to join us! Not in the lower 48 or the US? We’ve still got you covered! Both 2022 and 2023 have been transformative years for the Phius Alliance. We are thrilled to have surpassed the 1,000 member threshold in early 2023, with membership currently topping 1,090. And membership just continues growing every day!
Over the last 12 months, the Phius Alliance has hosted more than 25 webinars, with another 24 already planned for the remainder of 2023. In addition, the Alliance hosts quarterly policy meetings for members and those eight chapters have been working hard with project tours, advocating for better buildings, and educating people about Phius in their cities, states, and beyond.

The Phius Alliance community is truly incredible, and with a great deal of help from the Houston chapter, we are excited to bring PhiusCon 2023 to their backyard this November! Don’t miss a project tour the Wednesday before the conference starts and gather with us Thursday, Nov. 9, for lunch in the ballroom for our Annual Member Meeting. The meeting is the can’t-miss Phius Alliance event of the year, as you will have the opportunity to hear from the Alliance Council, meet other members in your area, get updates from Phius staff, and even make time to dream about what a Phius chapter in your state could look like.
