Passive Design for an Ambulatory Surgical Facility in Kyabirwa, Uganda

This session will cover how their Ambulatory Surgical Facility in Kyabirwa, Uganda was designed as a prototype to meet the acute need for providing ambulatory surgical care in a remote part of the world. This off the grid building conserves local resources to the maximum extent possible and is fully self-reliant for energy while meeting modern medical facility standards.
