Brian Cowan is a Phius Certified Builder and Consultant. As a carpenter and consultant at Carlisle Classic Homes in Seattle Washington, he ensures both remodels and new constructions are energy efficient and comfortable. Brian has conducted hundreds of energy audits and blower door tests on existing homes, remodels, and new construction. Each test helps collect data to build tighter homes.

Brian has lived in Seattle for more than a decade and leads the Phius Alliance Cascadia Chapter, a specialized expansion of passive house devotees that has been meeting since 2019.
