Have you really started hitting your Phius stride and suddenly receive the dreaded email that reads: “Your Phius credential is up for renewal”? And you only have one month to get the CEUs you need!

How could this happen?! Take a deep breath, because we’re here to review all the ways you can earn those CEUs and continue your work as a Phius Certified professional.

Our favorite way for our Phius professionals to earn CEUs is by certifying projects. When earning CEUs through a project, the Phius Certified Consultant (CPHC®) gets their project CEUs upon Design Certification, whereas the Phius Certified Builder (CPHB) and Phius Certified Rater or Verifier get their credits upon Certification.

Our second favorite route is by attending PhiusCon. If you faithfully attend PhiusCon for three years, you should have all the CEUs you need.

But if you haven’t certified a project or been able to attend PhiusCon, what is a Phius Certified professional to do?! We have the key for you: webinars! Phius and the Phius Alliance put on at least two hour-long programs per month on Tuesday nights that are worth one CEU each.

Can’t make an evening night work? Get your CEUs on-demand by watching past webinars in the Phius Resource Library! Go to the Resource Library, and on the left hand side, under the “Resource Type” click the “Show more” drop down and check the “Webinar” box. Then let it rip! Don’t forget to report that credit when you’re done watching.

Need more refreshers on what is required to maintain your certification? Check out the handy guide on the Maintain Credentials page on the Phius website! Did you know that a CPHC has a different number of credits to maintain than a CPHB? Find out all the details and what you need on the Maintain Credentials page. It is under the “Certification” tab on the home page of the Phius website

If you’re not sure how many CEUs you have or how many you need to maintain your credential, all you have to do is log into the Phius Portal. Once you log in, go to the “My Professional Certification” tab on the left hand side of your dashboard. There, you will find your CEU count and a link to submit your CEUs. Isn’t that the hardest part? Submitting those pesky CEUs can also be done on the Maintain Credentials page with the self report button on the top of the page.

If you have never logged into the portal, you must first register your account

Not sure how to register your account? Send Jennie an email at jeber@phius.org! Have other questions about CEUs or maintaining your credential? Always feel free to reach out to us.
