Zane Goodwin

Phius Alliance Pacific Regional Rep; CEO, Home and Made Custom Builders, LLC

Zane Goodwin, CPHB, RGC is leading the Southeast's fight to make high performance homes the norm. He is a Certified Passive House Builder and runs the design and build firm Home and Made Custom Builders LLC. in Long Beach, California.

Not coming into the performance home world via the normal route of architecture, he fell in love with the sustainability and durability aspects of homes through renovating 50-100-year-old homes. He got to see the fail points of these old homes and vied to build homes better so they didn't have the same fate. Building better, more durably, turned into a love of building science and ultimately brought him to passive house.

Zane now lives in the high performance custom new build and energy retrofit/ renovation part of the industry. Zane is also a proud U.S. Army Infantry Veteran.
