Additional Notes This house is conceived of as a traditionally styled low cost home for a 6-person family built with off-the-shelf items that maximizes comfort, optimizes energy efficiency and reduces monthly utility expenses. Wall section design is based on a vapor-diffuse system. The structural slab takes its cue from European type foundation systems for passive homes and is thermally insulated against heat loss to ground.
