Exterior Wall 12" I joist stud with 3" of XPS on the Exterior. The cladding was a rainscreen with moveable shades on the South Side. The foundation wall was a 13" ICF with an additional 3" of XPS attached.
Floor The basement was 75% under grade and the floor had 9" of XPS underslab.
Roof 16" I joist Rafters (that were dense packed with cellulose) carried by a central beam at the ridge. On the exterior there was a 5 inch Polyiso roof insulation panel.
Window Frame Zech - R 4.7 - PVC imported from Europe.
Window Glazing Sanco - SHGC - .48 and R value - 9.46

Heating System Daiken Mini Split.

Additional Notes Every year, the design/build capstone studio - Studio 804 - at Kansas University builds a project from schematic design to finished product. In 2010, they constructed the Prescott Passive House as their first Passive House Certified Project in Kansas City, KS.
